Did you mourn?

Okay, um, this might be completely headcanon but I’m going to explain myself here. I already put this on my tumblr so I'mma put it on here too. Let’s see if I can put this in words that will make sense.

I think out of the warriors three, Hogun would’ve been the one to mourn Loki’s fall the most. Hogun has very few friends; Fandral, Volstagg, Sif, Thor and Loki. He only interacts with people in this circle, because he knows he can trust them and put his life on the line for them. And while Volstagg and Fandral helped tease Loki, Hogun held to much respect for him for that. The two were friends, both held the other high. Hogun feels somewhat responsible for Loki’s actions - because he wasn’t able to see Loki’s intentions sooner.

Loki’s take over of Asgard made Hogun slowly lose his trust in Loki. But when Thor brought back the news that Loki was ‘dead’, Hogun crashed. Losing trust or not, he had lost a very close friend. He walked away without a word, Fandral and Volstagg calling after him. He locked himself in a room and slumped down,and he cried. For once he allowed himself to have abit of emotion.

It was hours later when someone found him, it was actually Sif. He had finished crying by then but the sun was rising and his eyes showed signs of crying and no sleep. She didn’t tell anyone that she had saw Hogun the Grim in a broken state.
